This is an informational translation provided for convenience. The Spanish-language version is the only legally binding one under Peruvian law. If anything here conflicts with the Spanish original, the Spanish original controls.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It's used to remember information between visits or during a session, like keeping you logged in or telling legitimate traffic apart from automated traffic. We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell them to third parties.

2. How we use cookies

factsimil uses three kinds of cookies: essential ones for the Service to work, anti-bot verification on our contact form, and analytics to understand aggregate website usage. We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies.

3. Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the web panel and login to work. They can't be disabled without losing the ability to use the Service.

CookiePurposeDuration
factsimil_sessionKeeps you logged in to your tenant's web panel.12 hours
factsimil_admin_sessionKeeps you logged in to the platform's admin panel.12 hours

Both cookies are httpOnly (not accessible from JavaScript) and are sent only over encrypted connections, to reduce the risk of session theft.

4. Anti-bot verification

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell human submissions apart from automated traffic, without intrusive captchas. When the form loads, Cloudflare may set its own technical cookies to complete this check. You can consult Cloudflare's privacy policy for more detail on how it handles this.

5. Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how our website is used (pages visited, traffic source, visit duration). Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* for this purpose. This information isn't used to identify you individually and isn't cross-referenced with your Service account data.

6. How to disable or delete cookies

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the web panel.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

To specifically opt out of Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we change the cookies we use or their purpose. We'll publish the current version on this same page along with the last-updated date.

8. Contact

For questions about cookie use, write to info@factsimil.com. For the rest of our data handling, see our Privacy Policy.
